Our Off-The-Shoulder midi dress is stunning. This dress is made from chiffon material and has a lining so there is no transparency when wearing it. The neckline is elasticated and can be positioned to sit horizontally across the shoulders or slightly off the shoulders. Depends what the occasion is for as to how much to pull off the shoulders! The waist line has elastic to pull in and offer shape.
Our only advice when wearing this dress is to invest in a good strapless bra. Something that will hold everything in place and support, as you don’t want to wear a bra with this dress and have straps on show.
What you wear on your feet depends on why you are wearing this dress. If it is a date night, wedding reception or night out, then we would suggest the black strappy heeled sandals all day long. You can then select a clutch bag and sparkly short chain necklace to accessorise.
If however you need to wear a coat, what do you go for because it is off the shoulder? How about a wrap and a pair of knee highs? A wrap is great as it doesn’t interfere with the shoulders of the dress. Plus you can afford to put a burst of colour in the outfit.
Now if you are going for a more casual look, there are a couple of things you could try. In order to create shape with this dress the waistband is elasticated. You could either pull the dress up and drape the section above the waist to create a break in the dress. This would then sit like how a shirt does when you go for a tucked in look. Or you could look for a chunky elasticated wide band belt. This could pull the waist in and create an hourglass figure. You could then finish the outfit with a chunky scarf and denim jacket.
